Split before/after photos into fast, web-ready pairs in seconds.
Stacked before/after photos slow down your site and break your sliders. PhotoSplit fixes both. Drop in your images, get clean before and after files compressed for faster page speed, better Core Web Vitals, and higher search rankings.

Why before/after photos hurt your website (and your rankings)
If your photographer is sending you single stacked images, you have four problems hitting you at once. Here’s what’s actually happening behind the scenes.
Stacked images break sliders
Before/after slider modules in Bricks, Elementor, and Divi all require two separate image files to create the drag-to-reveal effect. Stacked photos can’t trigger it.
Oversized photos tank page speed
Most stacked photos arrive at 600-800 KB and 1900px or larger. Each one adds seconds to your load time. Page speed is a direct Google ranking factor.
Bad Core Web Vitals hurt SEO
Google uses Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) as a ranking signal. Large images blow your LCP score and push you below competitors in local search results.
Mobile experience suffers
Stacked photos on mobile force scrolling between before and after, making comparisons impossible. Mobile-first indexing means this hurts your rankings too.

Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded anywhere when I use this tool?
No. PhotoSplit runs entirely in your browser. Photos never leave your device, are never uploaded to a server, and are never seen by us. Safe for use with confidential client photos including medical and aesthetic procedure images.
Why do I need to split before/after photos for my website?
Most before/after slider modules (including Bricks, Elementor, and Divi) require two separate image files to create the interactive drag-to-reveal comparison effect. Photos saved as a single stacked image cannot be used in these sliders without first being split.
What file formats does PhotoSplit accept?
PhotoSplit accepts JPG, PNG, and WEBP image formats. You can output to either JPG or WEBP. WEBP files are typically 25 to 35 percent smaller than JPG at equivalent quality.
How small does PhotoSplit compress the output files?
You set the target file size in KB. The tool uses a binary-search compression algorithm to land each output file at or just under your target. Default is 250 KB per file, which is the recommended size for fast-loading web galleries.
Can I batch process multiple photos at once?
Yes. Drop in 5, 50, or 200 photos at once. PhotoSplit processes them sequentially and outputs everything in a single ZIP file with consistent naming.
Is there a WordPress plugin version?
Yes. Submit your email above to download the standalone WordPress plugin. Install it on your site and use the -photosplit- shortcode anywhere, including Bricks Builder, Gutenberg, Elementor, and classic editor.
Will this work with the Bricks Builder?
Yes. After installing the plugin, drag in the native Bricks Shortcode element and paste -photosplit-. You can also pass attributes like
